Just came back from Digante Mandarmoni and really missing it. In one word it's awesome. Love the service provided by the staff. The staff members were really helpful, well behaved, and well mannered. They took care of all our needs. The prawn cooked by them was really awesome. The swans added a great value to the place. On the scale of ten I give Digante nine and half. It was an amazing trip. I visited this place with 5 friends. After viewing the location of the resort in GMap I thought the “Jhau Bon” in front of the resort might affect the view of the resort. But when we reached there, the experience was totally different. It was beyond our expectation. They have utilized the nature in their resort perfectly. As we were least bothered with the rooms (which were neat and clean) we just enjoyed the beach and the outer environment of the resort. You can spend time in the beach just in front of the resort. Chairs are provided for this purpose. For enjoyment during bathing in sea, they provide balls, boats, and life jackets. The decoration of the resort is very eye soothing because of the lots of greens maintained there. The overall view of the resort is very eco friendly. There are lots of ''dolnas'' by the side of the Jhau bon which are the best places to spend lazy hours of afternoon or night. The quality of food is excellent, specially Non Veg items. We ate hilsha, chicken, pomfret and prawn (best one). Hospitality of all the staff members is remarkable. Overall, the ambience, food, and location will help you to enjoy your holidays and to gain inner peace.

"A quintessence beach resort in its true spirit in adherence with the surrounding. The thing that I like the most is the location. It's not in the crowded part of Dadanpatrabar. In the true sense it is in a serene and quiet location and good for winding down yet enjoying the green and the sea both in concert. I visited with my family. It's worth the drive from Kolkata. Some people prefer to have a resort sitting right on the water so that you can see the sea 24 hours from the bed or balcony. But I like that Digante buildings and cottages are at a distance from the sea with a nice jhaubon sitting in between you and the sea. You can see the sea right through the jhaubon. I like the effect. The jhaubon was also the place for our campfire. We roasted chicken legs marinated with tandoori powder, garlic ginger paste made by my wife. One of the resort staff was nice enough to help us roast the chicken perfectly to its right tenderness."
