Extra Person Charge:
An extra person can stay in a double-bed room in every WBTDC lodge. The extra person charge is 20% of room tariff without a cot. The extra person charge is 30% of room tariff with a cot. The extra person charge is taxable at the same rate as the room tariff. The extra person charge is payable at the time of check-in/check-out. Room tax is paid at the same time. Your WBTDC booking document will not contain any information about the extra person. |

Our Murti Experience

Murti Tourist Lodge is very close to Murti river. It is about 300 meters away from the river. To arrive at Murti we took a flight from Kolkata to Bagdogra. We rented a car from Siliguri and reached Murti.
The staff members of the resort were very courteous. That was the most positive aspect of our stay in the resort.
The food served was of acceptable quality.
Breakfast: Bread, Butter, Omlette or Luchi, Aloo Tarkari
Dinner: We had Chinese on the first night, which was not good.
On the second night, we had Indian, which was good.
The room and bathroom at Murti Tourist Lodge were clean.
However, the light switches are randomly placed. We have to try several switches before we get the correct switch for the light we wish to turn on.
The geyser in the room we were allotted did not work. They changed us to another room in which the telephone did not work. Then they changed us to a third room where everything worked!
Ask the manager to get bills of all room service servings of food and beverages signed by the occupant of the room at the time of supply. Otherwise, the manager will soon run into arguments with occupants over settlement of room service bills.
